Membership
Note that these subscriptions are provisional and may be revised.
The subscription year runs from 1st April to the last day of the following March. The rates for the year 2024-2025 are:
- £90.00 for adults
- £25.00 for full-time students over 18
- £25.00 for juniors aged 11-17
- £10.00 for mini-juniors aged up to age 10
- £25.00 for introductory three-month trial membership with the option to top up to full membership
- £195.00 Family membership
Reduced subscriptions apply for those joining over half way through the year of £45.
Club visitors may play at a rate of £5 per visit. The club member should pay this amount into the bank account WTC Barclays 20-41-12 80996831 with the visitor's name as the reference. Please also enter the visitor's name in the visitor book for insurance purposes. We encourage visitors to join the club after 3 or more visits except by special arrangement.
Clubhouse keys are available with a £10 deposit.
The tennis court key is kept in the clubhouse on a large piece of wood. Please replace it immediately after use, rather than leaving it on the court, to prevent it being locked in the court.
Juniors should be accompanied by adult members when at the club.
Appropriate tennis clothing and footwear should be worn on court at all times, but we don't have any rules about what colour these should be.
We recognise members have different levels of ability and we accommodate all playing standards in our club sessions. Sessions with a professional coach can be arranged, if you wish to have them.
A junior member whose playing standard is acceptable to the WTC Committee may play in club sessions.
The club's Safeguarding Policy meets Lawn Tennis Association requirements.
